I was wondering what the status was this on, I mean i remember that we say this in May and it had an estimated time of about a couple weeks, thats if Im remembering correctly...

Now I cant even find the article in the archives...

Anyone know whats going on? =/

Emphatically not abandoned

. We're still planning to release these new areas, and you'll be seeing a little more of this very shortly. We know there's a lot of players out there looking forward to the live update (either for the new content or the new features such as Observer Mode). Just keep an eye on the site.

It would have probably been out already if not if they hadn't needed to push other things to the forefront for design and implementation.

In that case, I think you have bigger issues to worry about...

Take your time, ArenaNet. Better to be released in due time than released with "issues"...

I agree. Take as much time as you need to make it an incredible area. I personally am more eager about observer mode. I'd like to watch some of the guild matches of the valandor, or show some of my friends my nuking or sniping prowess haha.

Not until at least August. The Brand the Bosses contest doesn't announce winners until then, and those bosses are for the new areas.
