:O 15 atri quest, glitch?

WOW Okay so I did the desert one and I go to do the south shiverpeak one only to find that she, vanyi, won't give it to me.

She has no ! above her head and simply won't give me it.

Do I have to do something first or what?

I've done it on other chars....

*sigh* apparently you have to do one of the change secondary quests for her to give it to you.

I thought this wouldn't have mattered considering I'd done 2 of them already. I guess you have to do it AFTER you do that one where you go to all 3 towns....

So lame.

I had this problem with my Necromancer, She wouldnt give me the quest until I changed secondaries "or so i thought".

But with my warrior.. she had it as soon as i got to droknars.

You don't acctually have to change 2ndrys,You need to visit Heros reach Destinys Gorge and Seekers i believe.All you have to do then is take one of the quests you don't have to do it.

No you have to do it but you don't have to change secondary.

But you have to do it after doing heroes journey (the one with the 3 towns). Sorry if I got the name of the quest mixed up.

Well....I changed my secondary and I still don't get the quest from Vanyi. It is driving me nuts! I have been to Seekers, Heroes A and Destiny G....and changed my secondary....still no luck!

Hmmm wierd ive done it 3 times now and np so maybe the last patch or 2 added a bug.All i can suggest is to try filing a bug report.

Just occured to me did you go to dunes of depair,might be there instead of the gorge?

I've never had to do hero's path before, I just got both quests from Sanyi.

you do not have to change sec proff to get this..

and to answer the question about the 3 towns you need to visit.. that is not true either becasue that is "the quest to get the 15 extra points"

vanyi does not give the quest i dont think... if i rmember correctly it is given at the coppermines

No, unless something have changed since the last time I did this quest, Vanyi do indeed give this quest, if you don't get it from her, that extra NPC won't appear outside copperhammer mines.

I just did both of the 15 attribute quests last night. Vanyi in Droknar's gives you Hero's Journey. That quest is just to visit the three towns in the desert.

After that, she won't give you the Hero's Challenge quest until you do one of the path quests.

The quest says to go to Ironhead Mines but it's easier to go from Copperhead mines. I don't believe that there was a "!" over Sanyi's (sp?) head. I just talked to her and the quest updated.

BTW - I don't know if you have to do the first 15 attribute quest first or not. I did.

Maybe you should do the first 15AP (Starting at Destiny's Gorge) second. Since I did that both the times with my characters that did the AP quests. I'm not sure this will help, but noone said this untill now..

I should have said it! I have already completed the Forgotten Ones and the next one.....still can't get quest from Vanyi (for the 15 att pts),

It gets worse - since the last update, Hero's Challenge is bugged...it doesn't want to show location of sister.

This definitely seems bugged. Within the past week, I got this quest with two different characters. One of them had never been to any of the smaller desert towns, yet still got the Sanyi quest. The other had to complete one of the "change secondaries" quests (and it was clearly on purpose; I kept trying to turn down the quest to actually do it, and it gives strong red text telling you that you won't be as powerful as you can be if you don't do it).
