Guild Lord killing build?

Ok I'm trying to make this build to solo the guild lord in gvg but I'm uncertain on what to use. I'm thinking of using a me/n and use grenth's balance twice on the guild lord by using arcane echo then use a bunch of hexes for a serious health degen since his life is cut in half already from grenth's balance. Problem is the chances of living long enough to kill the guild lord is pretty slim since those archers and arcanist tend to do a lot of damage. Also part of the plan is to lure the team away from the guild lord by taking the flag stand. I'm not sure if this build has been made already so sorry if it was. Anyone who can help me finish this build is greatly welcome to do so.

For Grenth's Balance, you need to be low on health to work.

What about mighty AoE skills? Use arcane echo and 2 meteor showers, that would seriously harm the Lord... Some nice health degen and fire off more AoE attacks...

But I don't really think you can solo the Guild Lord.

You can also get Glyph of Energy so you end up with
-50 and 10 exhaustion
but dealt a hell lot of damage.

All you want is to kill the Lord and that has to be done quickly.
I don't know how much health the Lord has, but it has to be quite a lot. So you need strong attacks and I don't know any stronger attack than Meteor Shower (besides Grenth's Balance, but you need to be low an health to use it effectivly and if you are low on health the NPCs will kill you...)

You can then put Conjure Phantasm and Phantom Pain for a health degen of 8 and the cost of another 20 energy on him.
So you have spend 70 energy and have 10 exhaustion. As a Ele you can have about 20 energy at that time. so you can fire another expensive shot (and don't forget Glyph of lesser energy or Fire attunment).

Maybe some PBAoE attacks are also come in handy.

But as I said before, I don't think that it is possible. There are many enemies that can hurt you and if you take too much time the enemy team will be all over you. And most teams will be over you before you are even able to shoot at the Lord

Ok just had a gvg match and it is proven that one guy can solo the guild lord. We lost under 90 seconds because this one guy killed our lord while the others were just a decoy to attract us to the center.

Grenth's balance doesn't require you to have low hp. If you have like 400 hp and the guild lord has 700 or something like that then he would take 300 damage with one grenth's balance I'm not sure if that theory is correct but I saw someone do it. Well didn't see him do it because the lord died so fast that none of my team even saw the guy.

Grenth's Balance only requires that you have less health than your target.

1k max health + Grenth's Balance = 1k damage if they have at least 3k health.

Using Grenth's Balance to beat Glint is a common strategy.
I'd imagine that the same strategy would apply to the Guild Lord.

Then the description of the skill is missleading. Thanks for the clarification.

So Grenth's Balance is really awesome...

A R/N or W/N can be quite devastating for the Lord, mhm, we need to try that.

will need 40 energy all together... So even a Warrior (with a focus of course or a two hand staff) can cast them.
You don't need many attribute points in Blood and Curses for this to work out, just a few...

Final Thrust

Pure Strike

and of course:
Sprint

All you need is to use blood sacrificing spells to go down to like 5% hp and then hit the lord with grenths balance. Not sure on a good fast way to finish it off though.

Well.. don't forget those NPC near the guild lord... most people couldn't solo the guild lord are because of them...

Mesmer/Necro?

I've tried using Grenth's on the Guild Lord and unless you have a HUGE hp pool to dump all that hp into, I don't think it's a valid idea.

Best trick for it I suppose would be to bring a high level Demonic Flesh and then use the double Grenth's on him since you'll be eating a LOT of damage. Life stealing from the other Necro skills could prolong your inevitable death but if you can nick him in the end with some massive DoT, by the time you're dead, he could be dead a few seconds later...

Add to that Vital Blessing - While you maintain this enchantment, target ally has +40-168 maximum health. (Monk skills) and you've got alot of HP.

I'm gonna try this with a friendly guild in a few days.
