I heard that when you level up, your maximum energy dosnt go up with you? Someone mind telling how much energy you start with, and how you gain more of it? Also, when you have gained more, what is the average amout a necro would have at level 20?

20 energy base for all professions. This is for lvl 1 all the way to lvl 20. All other modifications come from armor and foci (offhand items). Also, primary elementalists can use Energy Storage attribute to increase base energy pool.

No potions. Only way to regain it is by letting it regen or by using specific skills (like Energy Drain from Inspriation Magic of mesmers).

It's not "sad", you just assume it is because you don't want to try it. Obviously it isn't as bad as you think it is or else no one would play the game.

well in GW (unlike many other games) your mana or magic or whatever you want to call it regenerates fairly fast and you only need high amounts of energy if you are using costly spells.

with 20 energy you can still be able to use a healing spell repeatedly and to good use.

20 Enegry just sounds as "bad" as the LvL 20 Cap....still you should try it out before judging about it!

Any self-respecting caster should bring the +15 wand and focus to swap in when energy is low, cast more, and swap back to regenerate.

To add on to others post i think this game has a lot more strategy in it then others, and it doesnt want u casting energy cost of 15 spells over and over. Go look at armors a lot have + regen etc and as others say u can raise it more. But mainly in my opinion you just have to be smart on what spells you cast.

In addition, go watch soe videos, forget what one it is but its a mesmer and he casts tons of spells quickly with not much trouble in the energy department. Of corse he is a mesmer and gets the leechs or energy etc. but still it just shows how they did spend time on balancing the characters. For you i say stick with your origanal idea of necro and if you still dont like u got 3 other character slots you can make a new character in or u can delete the necro.
