Just made a flawless forge-running build; Charge, Sprint, Endure Pain, Balanced Stance, Healing Breeze... Can't even make it past the wurms for some reason, been trying over and over and over and it's just not possible anymore..

Oh but it is. You should see my guild leader in action. I take more damage at yaks bend than he does in the forge run!

Can't remeber all his skills but i know he has balanced stance, healing signet, charge, sprint and i will survive. Oh and he's a level 20 warrior.

Good luck!

lol, did they add something in today's patch? That would be nice, I'm sick of these people who are collecting fees to help other players skip the game. And then people complain about the bad pve, well duh...

crossing through lornar's/dread/snake dance IS how the game was ment to be played. You dont have to play it that way, but they put it there for others who wish to play it that way.

quit your rush hating..

I hate people who get helped to Droknar's at low levels. Then they go to Shiverpeak arena and beat the crap out of everyone... DUH... I think the more Anet works on decreasing the number of such people or try to make it impossible, the better.

I think that for the benefit of all the players, all the items in the game should have level restrictions - say, you can't get Droknar's armor 'till level 15. Even completely mild restrictions like that would insure that people with great gear would not be able to ruin the fun for newbies in the two starting arenas and PvE. Alternatively, they could screw the level restrictions for entering the arenas and invent requirenment according to how far the person is in the game, since it is so easy to run to so many places. Like, if a person maid it to Droknar's they should fight in the current lvl 15-20 arena, not go back to Shiverpeaks... Or if they run from Ascalon City to Yak's Bend they should fight at the Shiverpeaks arena, even if they are level 2.

They could at least impose level restrictions on the areas such as Dreadnaught's Drift, like they do in most MMORPGS.

Show me where it is officialy written. It is possible, but doesn't neccesarily meant it was "meant to be played" that way. I don't it low level character was "meant to be" in 20+ mob areas.

the fact that it's not even closed up shows it's meant to be there...

I agree that the Rushing is intended, but it is closed up untill you have reached the corrosponding city. Basically, you need another member who can already "see" how to enter the city before you do.

I just got my guild to do it with no problem... Just like 20 mins ago... so I don't know what your talking about... I had a level 14 monk, and the rest of the party was lev 20 warriors and Rangers with lev 20 pets... We made it just fine.. It was a little harder then before, but not too much really... If you can play Ring of Fire with little problem, then the Lormars run is not that big a deal... Snake dance was definitely harder then before, but we just made it with 1 warrior running for his life. lol after that its easy as pie... the one thing they did fix was the people using the temple of ages henchies in there to make the run. Meaning having parties of 8/6 size with all level 15 henchmen... They reset it now when you enter the Beacons Perch so they are normal stats and only 6 henchies possible...

Oh btw all you people that rush down there to get armor... Skills are still worth the trip but the armor is almost a waste of time. its easier to go to the desert and get the same class armor as in droknars for FREE from the collectors... Poor sobs... lol

doknar's run = good

I've never done it, probably won't.

Tried to go into lornar's pass once, didn't make it past the worms, perhaps I'll try again someday

Poor sobs... lol I've looked through just about every thread/database regarding Collectors and the Crystal Desert that I can find acroos the GW fansite community, and have yet to find where the +70AL Necrotic chest piece is located, or whether any of the +70AL Necrotic or +60AL Scar sets are available from Collectors at all.

To some, just getting generic armor with high stats isn't the point... fashion matters too.
