Korean gaming is a big time entertainment industry there. Did you know that good PC players in Korea get star status? I mean, they are treated like Hollywood stars, with endorsements and paychecks. Yes, they get paid! Much like superstar athletes we have here in America. They actually get paid to play a game. That is why they can spend a lot of their time planning strategy, customizing their characters, etc. And GW is NOT the only online game they are good at. So there, now you know. ![]() Don't believe me? Check this: http://www.gaming-age.com/cgi-bin/sp...ing1&pagenum=1 |
I can believe what you say but what does setting foot in Korea have to do with any of this? I haven't set foot in Washington DC lately and can still know what is going on there. I haven't set foot in France and could find out what is going on there. Someone could go to Korea without it having anything to do with videogames. Good overall point, but a bad way to start your point.
