It was inevitable, and the probability that I am not the first to request is entirely non-refuteable. Correct?

Either way, simply stated, GW guru could benefit from the hosting of GUILDWARS GUILD forums. It could prove to be a link off of the guild's ad in the GW Guild DB, and lead many players back to these forums. It would also increase the functionality of an application process for esteemed guilds.

Just something to ponder.

If you need some free hosting for forums try this:
PhpBB Forum - http://netfreehost.com/phpbb/
Invasion PB - http://freeforums.bizhat.com/new_forum.php

There are other free stuff out there too.

If you want a good side, find some web hosting ($10 a month) that supports MySql & Php and you can set up you own favorite forum or run a full blown web portal (phpnuke, dragonfly, etc).

I run our guild's web site of my paid hosting where I have full control over any aspect of it and works out great.

This is just my opinion, but I would imagine that the owners of GWG will not do this because of one simple thing: it will consume their time! Setting up a forum can be a lot of work and having to do that for any guild would be terribly time consuming. Maybe one thing that they may consider is offering this service if people paid for it, that way they are also helping to support the funding of the board as well as paying for their time to set it up.

Forums can be set up dynamically, so that they may be created upon a template fairly easily. It is a good idea because it will direct attention to this site.

Thank you all for your suggestions, however, they must remain second choice, as I did advertise the idea here, and this site, as my loyalty would define my own choices, has helped me deal with the anxiety that GW induces

I don't want to sound rude, but I understand that they can be set up dynamically. However depending on if the guild wanted personal forums for members only, officer forums, etc. That is what I mean by the time, plus any additions to the specific user groups, blah, blah, blah. You get the idea

I think there is a company, cbguild or somehting, that does that exact thing. For like 10 dollers a month ,or more or something, they host forums for guilds.

Sorry, not happening. We decided this from day 1 - we are a 'guild neutral' area. Stuff like guild favorability, and etc, is something we can do without.
