My dazzling 15k armor...!

looks the same as the 1.5k...Same stats, same look, why did I waste 13.5k per slot? Thanks again areanet, another two weeks of farming ruined!

dont waste your money on the 15k ranger armor...They all look the same as the 1.5k, with the same stats. Especially druids armor!

Hey, you're lucky you can even afford 15k armor, i struggled to buy 1.5k armor. As for the issue, they're working on it. Until then, you're probably rich enough to spare others so unless you go broke (Which would be your fault for buying useless armor that costs 10x more), you should be very grateful.

It's a known fact that the 15K armor is the exact same as the 1.5K armor stats-wise. It's a cosmetic item that is not required, but is there who feel like they want/need/should blow all their gold on something.

As for looks -- don't worry. ArenaNet has mentioned previously that Druid's 15K armor is going to be redesigned. Many of the 15K armors look different and/or dye differently than their cheaper counterparts. The ones that look the same (Druid's, Aeromancer, and many more) are gradually being updated.

I had known about the stats being the same...But I have a warrior...His 15k plate and 15k dragon (yes he has both sets) look completely different from the 1.5k plate and the 1.5k wyvern....How could they succeed on this, but be so flawed on the ranger armor (as far as looks)? I guess they forgot about rangers =/, everyone else does. Nonetheless, this pisses me off, and I am rapidly becoming another anti A-net.

15k drakescale is crap too...Barely any difference in appearance, atleast from the boots i bought. The eh....(something leather...spiked? i think) looks a lot different than the 1.5k, but it still doesn't have the same "quality" appearance as say, 15k Platemail , over 1.5k platemail...Or 15k Dragon, over 1.5k Wyvern (only armor I'm familiar with). Right now, I just wonder why A-net would price the SAME EXACT armor, for 13.5k more (excluding materials, which requires more expensive ones) than another set, when they have to know that a lot of people seeking a different look from their peers, will buy it...It still amazes me. Anyways, I'm not "mad" anymore, but a visual armor upgrade wouldn't take an expansion, just a 10second patch. If my 15 druids, looked different than every other piece of druid in the game, I might be playing GW right now...But I just don't want to anymore.

I browsed these forums to make sure the druid's armor had an updated graphic before purchasing it. Saved myself 75k. Don't see why the OP couldn't do the same.

I wish the 15k armor, or even some less ones would allow alternate helmet tops. For instance, instead of a mask, some rangers could go with a more concealing hood attached to their long-coat. Reminds me more of a ranger anyways, suprised the mask was placed in over a hood.
