Can I get refund points when I "level" after hitting level 20? Like, if I"m super super patient will I have the chance to experiment with all the variations of my class using the refunds? Are they given as quest rewards anywhere and (so wish/hope) are they buyable anywhere?

Yes... not matter what level you are in the game. You gain 1 refund point for everyone 250XP you gain ingame.

So if you use them all, doing one mission in the Underworld will gain them pretty much all back again

You don't get refund points from any quests in this game however.

I love refund points. I've been a healer, smiter farmer, fire aoe, earth protector. All made possible by refunds. Sometimes I'm stuck with a change a little longer than I want because I don't have points to change back. But in time this too shall pass!

wow, 1 for 250 xp? That's even better than I thought... although 250 xp may take a while once at level 20, but regardless, if I know where to farm I'll certainly be able to switch my skills around at leisure. Is there a refund cap?

PS. thanks for the info

24 Refund points is the max anyone can have at anytime... this is a capped limit.

I see... that's okay, if they're easy to get. I mean, to empty one skill completely you need like, what, 12?

another way to do this is -

if you have 12 attributes in a different profession (and are level 20)

just change your second profession and you won't lose any refund points

altho most commonly you are changing attributes in your primary profession
