age display

I don't know if anyone posted this idea yet.. (i tried to do search.. but system complain my search "age" is too short, and "age display" didn't reply me any related)

but i got an idea to actually check age of that charactor or user.. (maybe /age <nick> ?)
since myself (and i know lot of us out there, i seen many) often go to ascalcon to give out free stuff to newbies to help them out.. and it would be nice if we can find out if he/she is a real newbies or not...

i mean.. it would sucks if an aged user use a low lvl character .. grab the free stuff.. and sell it back at rip off price ... kinda defeat the whole purpose for us ...
so..just a give of thought... that's all..

I wish I got free stuff when I was a noobie... FFS, all my mates were getting Tons of plat from donations and I was just struggling along... -_-

not sure if /age other would be a good idea, because it could lead to some "discrimination" toward not much aged char

Perhaps a compromise can be reached?
Why not simply offer a few "aged" faces up front during character creation?

Not everyone will desire this; but I believe my wizard would be best depicted as old, cantankerous, and cranky...

Don't believe too many players would select "crones" however; perhaps if they were really witchy looking - warts and all...
