When I saw the griffons using that spell I knew I had to get it. I cried when I found out that it was DF linked.

Why couldnt this spell have been for mesmers? Mesmers are suppose to break spells not monks!

spellbreaker just makes spike teams switch target and it has a high recharge time (45 secs) which makes one monk carrying it just a minor nuisance to the spike team. Protective spirit vs spike teams IMO and it doesnt waste your elite slot.

But if there's a mesmer or necro, spell breaker is still the only way to protect your enchantment from being stripped. So if there's a way to spam spell breaker it would be using arcane echo, but unfortunately that would cost too much energy. So either way, it's hard for a monk to survive a well-balanced assault.

Put spell breaker on Ghostly Hero in the Tombs and Cast seed on him, and watch his hp fly up becuase they cant do spells, but everytime they hit him he gets X hp,

gosh, i got a smiter with enchantments and stuff, but i thought it would be pretty easy to beat in PvP, just use enchantment revoming, but with SPELLBREAKER (soz caps) i wont have that problem for about 1/3 of the time :P

^Or make them an El/Mo and bring Obsidian Flesh. Lasts longer and has a shorter recharge time.

only difference: i need bonettis defense as Mo/W (for energy) + if i use obs flesh, i have to use points in earth magic...
too bad i cant have obsidian flesh + ether renewal

this has 1 major advantage over obsidion flesh- the enemies waste energy when they try to cast spells on target ally for pvp think of it as "all casters attacking target ally loose 10+ energy and must switch target"

Spellbreaker- Perhaps an underrated ability. This spell can last approximately 26 seconds (or was it 27?) using a +20% enchanting staff upgrade and Blessed Aura at max 35% enchanting time.

No its not designed for mesmers just us monks deal with it :P.

No its not designed for mesmers just us monks deal with it :P. So, you are saying, that with 16 Divine Favor, plus a 20% staff wrapping of enchanting and Blessed Aura, this thing can last over 25+ seconds?

Just for a little clarification, what exactly is the length of spellbreaker with 16 divine favor (without any mods on weapons to lengthen the duration.) Also, can I correctly assume that with 16 Divine Favor, Blessed Aura is bumped from 30% up to 35%?
