In beta when you went to make a PvP character, there was a checkbox at the top to unlock all the skills available in the game. Meaning, you could test out any class/skill combinations you wanted without having to find everything through Roleplaying characters.
'Toons' are slang for your individual characters. For example, if someone says, "I'm going to roll a new toon" they mean to create a new character.
At last! Someone has replied to one of my threads today! Seriously though, thanks. Eh I'm against that. Well I guess people would want that for PvP but since I love to play RP and in turn could gain an edge in PvP I like it how it is.
Thats quite biased by me though I must admit, and I'm not sure of the distribution of population that plays or thinks like me.
its not like that now, that was in the beta's, you can either use the pre made builds they have, or make your own char and use the skills/runes you have unlocked.
UAS was "Unlock All Skills". During the beta, there was a button that you could check when making PvP characters that said "unlock all skills for beta weekend". At the moment, many PvPers think it's the only thing that will save GW from continuing to be what it is now. Grind Wars. Most time spent wins. I agree.
And incase you want to know what "roll" as in "roll a new toon" means. It's from the old PnP (pen and paper) days. When you created a new character you "rolled" the dice for stats.
