this game isn't pay monthly , i was told instead we buy an expansion every now and then, sooo how many expansions come out in what time period?

There will be an expansion every 6 months.

You don't need to buy the expansion to keep playing though, I just gives you more professions, skills, and areas to play on/with.

it isnt really an expansion as a whole new game, theyve said in interviews that the new chapters of guild wars would be comparable to the origonal full game so therefore it will cost the same as the origonal game (around 50$ us) this their way of making up for the no monthly fees but as was listed a post above you dont need to purchase the new chapters to remain competetive it just will add new skills, maps and possibly new races/proffesions besdies with all the Pve/Pvp content thats in the origonal you may not even be ready in 6 months to purchase more content

hmm every 6 months is a pretty fast pace, do u think there will really be 4 expansions in ust 2 years??? tahts a lot of work

Signatures are great as long as they are not overbearing. The purpose of the forum is to read informative posts, and not to be distracted by large sigs. Hence, we must enforce a sig. height limit. Anything over 120pixels or 3 lines of text is too large. Keep it small and simple.

if you think about it an expansion is already probably in the works with one team working o nthe main reelase and another on the expansion, it works out being cheaper in the long run, same as with movies that are made back to back
