Essence Bond

Could someone please clarify Essence Bond to me? Do you target someone with it, and then gain energy whenever they get hit? Do you target yourself and gain energy whenever you hit something? Does it only target enemies or allies?

You can place it on yourself or someone else.

When that person gets hit (whoever you put Essence Bond on), you gain energy. You only target allies with it.

As far as I know, you can only maintain enchantments on allies (you count as an ally... but not a "target other ally")

so... you put it on an ally or yourself and whenever they take damage... yada yada...

Unfortunately that w'ont work with aura of restoration: all you need is a team of magic-users and youre nearly unkillable... "sigh"

I know some say that they have used it on enimies in PvP with success. Unless they changed it in the March Beta - Yes you can use it on the enemy.

target = friend or foe
target foe = foe
target ally = anyone on your team including you
target other ally = anyone on your team besides you
creature = everything breathing

Well, I accidentally cast it on a mob and it didn't fire ... last BPE... so I would be suprised if it worked on other enemy players. But maybe I am mistaken.

Essence Bond (Enchantment Spell) While you maintain this Enchantment, whenever your target takes physical damage, you gain 1 Energy. Maintaining this Enchantment reduces one point of your Energy regeneration.
