Hunter's Ale???

I killed the bear in under 3 minutes and the drunkards in the woods gave me a bottle of Hunter's Ale (looks like red dye).

Does it have any purpose? It only has 1 remaining use, and I don't want to waste a good bottle of hooch on stupidity. What happens upon drinking it?

Already lost a grand to the voice of grenth....*shudder*

It makes your screen blurry and moves around a little for about a minute. If you do this twice (do it when the guys say "Drink!"), they will start singing your praises. I haven't seen anything other than that.
