What is the deal with dwayna's avatar?

So what is the deal with it? I see it from time to time and go flap my lips to her, but I don't see the point of it... same with the melandru's watcher spirit thingy. Can anyone fill me in?

Well balthazar and that grim reaper type dude (forgot name) are for getting into the underworld or fissure, melandru, dwayna, etc..are just for decoration I guess =\

Just a guess, but anet willl probably add places to go by donating to the other gods in future.

Out in the explorable areas, they give bonuses for donations. Only seen Grenth and Dwayna, which gave Dwayna's Blessing (Both of them give it. It's an enchantment which gives you 3 regeneration of health.), or a DP reduction.

Not really sure why they even show up in some cases, such as in pre-searing towns, when they do nothing at all >.>

I was also wondering this, I know about the balthazar and grenth in temple of ages, but I see Dwayna in sardalec sanitarium...who won't do anything when I speak to her except give me an "I'll be on my way" option.

I'm like...ok...last time I ever pray to you.

My guess is that they will add Lyssa's, Melandru's and Dwayna's places by live update in the future.

By the way, to make the people appear by the statues, /kneel near the statue. Many people have yet to figure that out, strangely enough.

Finally, someone tells me XD

Dunno about Dwayna. She seems to be a goddess of peace, so I doubt she would have an explorable area to kill monsters unless there was a good reason behind it...

Shouldn't Balthazar's dungeon be a place filled with warriors, fire elementalists, and smiting monks then? >.>

And could you just imagine what it would be if they had a Dwayna's dungeon/explorable map without monster encounters? <.<

Full of 100's of NPC's with errands quests!

Take NPC A to NPC's B, C, and D in order.

Deliver Letter from NPC E to NPC F.

Follow NPC G to Location A. Search the nearby wreckage for an item.

Take package A from NPC H to NPC I. Get NPC's J, K, and L, to sign the Form A. Take completed Form A to NPC M in Location B. Get Package B from NPC N nearby Location C. Happy Birthday! 1k experience for you.

Actually that might be a good idea. Add to that possibly a time limit and level 40 mobs *the kind you CAN'T kill if your life depended on it* so you have to use stealth :>
