Is the game coming out in Australia?

I'd like to know, because I can't import it.

Guild Wars will be available in EB Games stores in Australia (the deal was finalised today). I don't have the exact release date details on hand at the moment, but I'll let you know as soon as I do.

Oh, thanks! I was convinced that the game wasn't coming here (I haven't seen many MMORPGs around here lately).

I got my preorder from www.GamesMarket.com.au and they were very fast about it too. My preorder pack was in my letterbox the day after I ordered.
They've obviously imported the game from somewhere, but no-one knows where, so the preorder item is a mystery.

I also received my pre-order pack after one day from gamesmarket. They have the release date listed as: 30/04/2005.

Two days late, that's not too bad, compared what I heard about EB, that they wanted to release it at the end of May

These people also had some info on attaining the game if you are in Australia or New Zealand.

Woohoo. I picked up a copy of Guild Wars today (28th) from EB Games at Parramatta, NSW. It's the Warrior box. I am so happy.

I'm still waiting for GamesMarket to send me mine. Maybe it will be in the mailbox when I get home *hopes*
