Victimized by RPers…

I probably have several jumping in here thinking this is going to be a flame, sorry to disappoint you, not the case. Just a funny story that happened to me several nights ago, that I found to be quite amusing and entertaining so I decided to share it with you all.

I was waiting for someone in the international district of Ascalon with my level 20, the person I was waiting for was crossing over and I was there to transfer some essentials. All of a sudden someone walks up to me and whispers.

I didn’t think of saving it on screen shots so here how it roughly went.

Stranger: Hi man can I ask a favour of you?

Me: A favour??? Depends on what the favor is, but sure ask away.

The trade window opens with a pair of monk pants in it. (The stranger is a Ranger)

Stranger: Can you hide these for me and please don’t tell anyone.

Me: Hide them??? Why?

Stranger: Please man I don’t have much time, will you please help me?

Me: not sure I’m following you what is this all for?

Stranger: Please I need your help, hurry and don’t say anything.

Thinking ok can’t get scammed here he’s not asking for anything, worst comes the guy doesn’t come back, in that case I’ll just get ride of the pants. So of course accept the trade, about ten seconds later some guy in Ascalon Starts screaming (Caps).

Monk: WHERE ARE MY PANTS?

He starts running around and screaming this a couple of times, then of course spots the Ranger and starts chasing him all over the place, while they are chasing each other of course this goes on in the chat.

Monk: Give me my pants you thief!

Ranger: I don’t have them!

Monk: where are they?

Ranger: I don’t have them anymore! Look

Ranger: They took them away…

The back and for goes on for about 3 to 5 minutes and all of a sudden everything spots and the ranger reappears.

Ranger: Thanks man, ok I lost him, you can give me the pants back.

Me: ok here goes

Ranger: thanks a lot.

Of course I couldn’t leave it there and ask afterward what that was all about, he just answered back. We were just bored and wanted to liven up the place.

It’s only after I realised, oh yea I’m in the international district the *Unofficial RP district* that it came to me I had just been a victim of bored RP players.

Only have one thing to say guys it was hilarious and the spontaneity was refreshing, keep it up guys it was well appreciated and judging by the *lol* and comments that I saw go by in the chat UI, I wasn’t the only one.

lol... I didn't do a search for it, I had been following the thread for a week or two and that was one of my favorite stories, then when you posted this it was like getting hit in the face with the funny-brick!
