Abuse :(

Hi guys, I just had a very unpleasant situation in GW. I met a guy in Ascalon (Bancario Precario) who wanted to sell a sup. vigor rune. I met him at storage and there he shows me the sup. vigor rune, I pay him the offered price (30k) and then he canceled the trade (he refered to it as "lag"), afterwards he opens the trade window again and I accept. When I checked my inventory afterwards I see that he sold me a minor vigor rune instead of a sup. and that I spend all my cash on such rune. I know sure this wasn't his first case of abuse AND CERTAINLY not his last. He doesn't answer the messages I send. I just lost 30k and I "worked" for that a full month or more. Is it possible to do anything about this abuser? I just want my money back from him nothing more.
My purpose of this thread is to warn the people but also gather sugestions from people where I could go with this case of abuse.

I'm sorry to hear that happened, but I'm pretty sure there is no way to get your money back.

You'll just have to be a little more careful next time when hitting accept the trade button. Hard lesson, but many of us have learned it.

1- you won't get your money back, it's gone. Consider it the price for having learned your lesson
2- I feel for you, I really do. The game is littered (but not full) with dinks and idiots
3- I want to preemptively say to ignore any who will respond with things like "you deserve it" or etc. since they may come
4- I just want to restate that I feel for you... There's not really anything you can do (you could report it if you have a screen shot, but this will mean repurcussions for him not restitution for you) and I know how it can take a long time to make good cash... But cut your losses and move on, you still have your health (in this case, your character)

That's where everyone posts about their scam stories, as far as I can tell. Some of them are quite entertaining, join them.

I just tested him out on my brothers account and he does the exact same thing (you can even test it out yourself), he shows you the rune and then he closes the window ("due to lag") and when the window pops up again, there is a minor vigor rune.
Maybe some of the forum members can talk in to him and convince him to give me my money back (maybe if not 1 but 50 guys talk to him he will listen at last)
I also posted a mail to the GW community email service and also a complaint on the GW website.
I hope some of you can talk to him and bring him to reason

Thx for the comment Slugfly, it's not only my purpose to get my money back, I also want to warn the forum members and the GW community of the deeds of this guy. I hope thanks to my complains on the GW website that he will be punished (temp ban maybe)
