Salvaging items with multiple enhancements

If you have an item that has multiple stats on it (like both a prefix and suffix modifier) will you get both modification items when you use an expert salvage kit? Kind of a simple question but it can make a big difference.

I know you dont get both, but as to WHICH one...im not sure...i tried to salvage a vampiric hilt off of a sword TWICE, each time i got the pommel....so im not entirely sure.

Correct me if I am wrong guys and gals, But when expert Salvaging a weapon with multiple odds you have a chance to get ONE of the following (by chance):

1) Primary mod
2) Secondary mod
3) Crafting materials only

Its all based on chance, and Majic's is right, you have the best chance of getting the primary mod.

I've salvaged hundreds of items and never gotten the primary - always the less-than-awesome secondary =(
