As it was said earlier in this post, more options
are on their way, and when one simply mensions the word 'expansion' one would asume that new items (which would change the appearance of your character) would be included.
I don't see how in any slightly remote way how the fact that they have streaming technology gives them more time. I could see how that would shorten the time to add something into the game...but not to develope it. Besides, William of Orange is right in saying they have more important things to do.

Certainly this would only be the case when the options we are given do not fit the game (like blue skin and pink hair) mind you, you can already have blueish skin and you can have a spikey mohawk too if you like. Just call yourself a necromancer and be done with it. (I've yet to hear a necromancer say: "LOL!! L00k at my l33t hairdo!! My mohawk pwned you HAHA LOL1134 r0x0rZ!!!!!!!!!!!")
About importance with questing/missions/trading/skills/professions, etc. What do shadows made by the leaves do? Snow falling off trees? What does the sound of a chirping bird do? Hell, what do GRAPHICS do? The answer that your thinking of right now is the same for individualism. Definitely though, any changes made by the developers should/would fit the game and shouldn't affect the volume of people pwning other people with their hair...so there shouldn't be anything more or anything less to worry about than there is already.
A more serious problem, and a reason that the customization aspect of the game
should get some attention, is the extreme similarity between characters. Nevermind nipple rings and bandana's, we have entire body shapes that need to be looked at. There needs to be more than skin colour, height and gender to differ between primary professions. Each one looks really cool and very well done....but when they all look like that, it takes away from the beauty and the experience. That's just my opinion anyways...
I doubt anything too drastic will be implemented at all, aside from new armor and items to use, which is pretty much guaranteed. I am already very happy with what options we are given, and I have no complaints....just friendly suggestions.
