Does Ignore not work?

Isn't the Ignore list supposed to block all text from someone in the main channels, or does it only block tells from them? Some loser was spamming all the channels with line after line of "U R ALL F*GS!!!!" while I was trying to set up a trade, but adding him to my ignore list didn't do anything.

Speaking of which, we really need a /report function

and a /who function i havent tried ignore but to me, ignore should squelsh the person completely. so i believe it's broken.

At this time ignore only works for whispers. If you look through the forums you'll see at least a hundred posts about this (if not more)

Agree that we need true /ignore (all channels, trades, invites, and emotes) as well as the ability to see WHO IS ONLINE.

Add to this the ability to full-text search names so we can find our friends. For example, I have a friend that uses the word 'purple' in his names. I never know what his character name is, but if he is playing, I know I can look for 'purple' and find him.

I tried opening a bug report about ignore being broken but it was deleted w/o comment...

also something nice would be click and add to friend list (is it there?). it's a pain to type their name to the friends list... not to say there are similar names..

I have found that you have to rezone to get the ignore to work, I could swear it worked for all chat. I may be wrong though.

It would also be nice to have the friends and ignore be separate list, I hit the max yesterday and had to remove some ignored to add friends.

I agree, but I have found a work around... you can click on someone and it will bring up the whisper screen with their name filled in, and then you can highlight their name and press Ctrl+C to copy, then open the Friend or Ignore window and Ctrl+V to paste it in.

Are you sure you didn't just rezone into a different instance of the city?

They probably get like 1000+ of those for /ignore a day. I'm sure they just deleted it in preperation for their next update to fix maybe.
