Equiping elite skills

Is it possible to equip two elite skills at the same time? When I tried to equip two elite skills, the one on my skill bar would always be replaced by the other one. Is it suppose to be like this?

That's what is supposed to happen. You can only equip one elite at a time.

You can have 2 elites on your bar during XPing, if you capture one of them. Otherwise, you can only ever have 1 elite on your bar. I agree, it does kinda suck, because they're not all even close to equal.
