Where Art Thou?? My beloved beautiful Lynxs

What has happened to the Lynxs in the game?? I remember the time in WPE, ahhh the good old days. I remember then, the Lynxs had quite an array of colours for choice, some were even so beautiful I just charm for their looks.

Today, I go into Lion's Arch, hunting around for that beautiful Lynx which I met in WPE, I cannot seem to find it... Has it been extinct by the Dev's or are they into hiding now that they are so beautiful and rare.

No idea what I am talking about?? I am talking about the beautiful colours of the Lynxs in the game. Back in WPE, The lynxs had very nice colours. I remember catching one with pure bright white fur and black stripes/spots. It was so lovely. Then I saw another even more beautiful one with bright golden colour, but I did not know how to disown a pet to catch a new one then. Sad, so sad indeed. Now all I find are the ugly coloured ones, like this smiley --> <-- This colour is the only colour I have seen on lynxs so far in the game.

Has anyone seen those beautiful creatures of the past?? I wish dearly to charm them making them my pet even if they may not be the strongest. Please, anyone out there who feel what I feel, please contact me if you know of their whereabouts. T.T :tears:

I just got to Lions Arch and died in the jungle, think it was something Kryta and there were Lynx all over and different patterns on them too although I didn't notice any color differences

All the lynxs' I have seen so far are a brownish colour, I don't think there are different coloured ones.

tons of them in the Desert.. TONS, but all ugly normal ones..

Yes, I was sorely disappointed when I discovered they got rid of the different lynx colors. I wanted a white one, too. At least the current color is more attractive than what you see on Melandru's Stalkers.

Aweee a white one would be so cool, and... wow... GW SUre as heck did get a facelift huh? Some of the older aspects of it look kinda cool, it has sort of a rusty feel to it. Kinda like Arcanum o.O; But like, not... Freaky I never knew GW changed that much from WPE to the betas...

If I recall correctly, I found my first Lynx during E34E, and it was a delightfully radioactive shade of orange. I would like to believe that my Lynx hailed from a planet different than our own, or perhaps was possessed of unfathomable powers - but to exist in Tyria was what kryptonite is to Super Man - which would seem to explain why Lynxes used to have permadeath. However... now that you mention it, though... I haven't seen any variety in the lynxes either, just the default orangey-brown.

Is it me, or does the interface look better in the beta than it does in the retail version? What happened?

Now I really regret not taking some screenshots back then >.< . Could have shown the beautiful beasts to many. Who would have thought they would removed those beautiful lynxs...

hold up, hold up, i've seen light brown/tan lynxes where in thw world do you find PINK ONES? what? i've seen brown and tan/sanddy.can you dye you're PETS? that'd be so awesome.
