Ascension bonus + sp?

I can't find an answer to this anywhere.

Is there any benefit to getting the bonus on ascension?

I have done it with and without the bonus, and I have not received any xp for either (other than the small xp for killing that one foe), nor any skill points.

There also is not any crossed sword icon to indicate that you've passed the mission and/or bonus.

Which mission are you referring to? I'm confused as to what you're trying to figure out here. Which foe are you referring to? Mirror self? Dragon's lair?

Yes, fighting the Mirror Self...

It says you have a bonus for defeating it in under 50 seconds.

I notice no benefit to doing the bonus (no crossed swords, no xp, no drops, nothing).

i went from end of lvl 18 to lvl 20 after the mirror.

Yes, after you Ascend you go to Level 20 no matter what level you go in at.

I agree with you about that Lil...I killed mine in under 50 seconds, and only got the 100 exp. that the mirror gives you...so I am curious as well

I noticed some people have gotten drops off the mirror, so I must just be unlucky. But it does not seem to have anything to do with whether you kill in the bonus time or not (have gotten 0 drops with 2 kills with bonus 1 kill without bonus).

yes but your "mirror self" is lvl 20. you wont beat it at lvl 9

Now, that's irony. Empathy on your mirror self. It's like a do-it-yourself psychology session.

One of my friends finally ascended last night. She's a Me/E20. She literally beat her mirror in 9 seconds and received no bonus. I think she used arcane conundrum, followed by backfire, then I think used meteor or meteor shower and it was all over. I thought she'd have a harder time.

I beat mine in 22 seconds as a Ra/Mo20 and had 90% health left when it died.
