Maxed out Faction, now what?

I've maxed out my Faction, and now am at a loss as to what to do for the rest of this FPE weekend. I could continue to do PvP, but with no rewards it doesn't seem worth it. I'm thinking of just going back on my warrior and farming some ettins. THey should be dropping golds like mad with everyone off at Cantha.

actually there are still crap loads of people doin what they always do farm or sell. most people didnt even know about the FPE.

Try to buy a town

If I was in a guild, I'd probably do that, because it would be amusing as hell. But I'm not, so out the window that goes :/.

It seems that you can buy something called jadeite for your armor. I still haent found what its used for. (costs 1k factions for lux)

I'm guessing they're used in the 15k armors, someone said they found the place where the crafter was.

Can someone explain how can you do that? I guess you must spend the faction to raise your alliance rating, but after that you can choose a town to control? Or how it works?

I've been wanting to figure that out too.. but.. being that I haven't figured it out.. ;P

Farm and UNLOCK!! Anything you unlock here stays unlocked for a PvP char and for your skills bar (you may have to buy it back) if you merge an account with your own prophecies account.

In the middle of the Petrified Sea, below the Gyala Hatchery theirs a place called the Leviathon Pits. You can get 15K armor from there, its like 30 Jadeite per 'vestment' plus other materials (and the 15K).

what do you normally do with faction you have gotten in the past?

how about unlocking a few things to make more room in your faction bank account.

You don't unlock with Luxon faction, you unlock with Balthazar faction.

this is from the FAQ so it must unlock something else then.

does anybody know?

"members can spend their points individually"

This means you take it to the [Faction Rewards] people, for every 1k of Faction you get a piece of Amber (Kurzick) or Jade (Luxon)

15k armours require them as crafting materials.

I don't think the non-Balthazar faction has anything to do with unlocking skills, runes, etc.

I think that later on Anet will just add items for you to purchase through Faction, that's all.

As said above, you can get rare crafting materials for Factions' 15k equivalent, and also to get points for your Alliance. At least for Luxon and Kurzick faction. Balthazar is still the unlocker, and who knows what other factions whill be revealed in other chapters.

Also, I was wondering if anyone has tried transferring stuff back to Tyria? You can get a guy over to the Alliance Battles through your Guild Hall, and so can your FPE guy. I know that the trade button does appear in the waiting area for the Alliance Battles, so is there anything from preventing one from transferring stuff back to Tyria through a trusted friend/guildmate?

I'm saying someone goes to the guild hall and uses it to go to the alliance battles. You meet him there and trade him your stuff (perhaps some jadeite/amber) and he ports back to the guild hall. You then log onto your main/storage char, and have him trade back the stuff you gave him.
