The first day I ettin farmed, I got 3 sup monk runes in a few runs. After that, it all went south. =(
AMAGAWD DONT HIDE THE BUILD! I WANT TO KNOW ITZ!!!111 It's not like its a unique build that no one has ever conceived of. Instead of making a silly thread showing off what you got but not offering anyone else help.
Here's the build I use:
Flurry, Evis, Executioners, Disrupting Chop, Heal Sig, Watch Yourself, Dolyaks, Sprint
The watch yourself might be overkill though. Best way to deal with Ettins is Flurry them till they are at about 2/3s life (that is usually soon they will heal sig), then quickly Eviscerate and Executioners causing the Ettin to not only continue to attack but it feels it no longer needs to Heal Sig or Endure Pain making the kill much quicker.

It's not the build that's hindering your drops. It's farming fatigue aka anti-farm code.
If you ever notice your drops are crap you have a few options:
1. Change areas. I usually change "continents" IE go from the desert to the shiverpeaks for example.
2. Change charachters and farm someplace else. Or do some quests/missions on that other charachter that you had rushed to the forge and ascended at level 5.
3. Do a mission with the same charachter. I solo gates of kryta for fun with my I-Monk. Works like a charm. Mission takes about ~15 minutes and I kill all the undead and all the drakes on the way.
This is my theory of course. Flame as you wish. It works for me. There are TONS of different theories on anti-farm code. Some people do some crazy things to say the least.
