Characters =)

This thread is simply to have an oversight of everyone's characters. This includes the characters you'll have even after factions comes out, so you're sort of pre-planning all your characters to come. Also, add some reasons that you're making that character to give some people (eg. me ) ideas. I wanna see all those people making A/Rt

Okay. I'll start.

Prophecies
- Warrior / Ranger - for Stance Tanking
- Necromancer / Mesmer - for UW and Minion Factory-ing

Factions
- Assassin / Elementalist - "Armor of Mist" seems to complement Assassin style
- Ritualist / Monk - Heard there would be lots of stationary battles, thus, spirit healing
- Ranger / Assassin - Deadly Arts + Marksmanship = Dead runners FTW =)

And a PvP character.

-Me/N: Shining example that Fast cast and Wells work.
-E/Mo(PvP: Shining example that I should have picked another 2nd, but can't reroll the char because I'm using him for storage.

~Mesmer/Everything : It has been my favorite class since Beta. I use it for everything from tanking to healing.
~Necro/Monk : MM and Curse.
~Ranger/Mesmer : A more "physical" based character.

~Ritualist/XXX : I like support/ranged classes.
~Assassin/XXX : To test and I really need a melee class ><

Prophecies:
~N/Me: Minion Master that does Thirsty River runs. (My cash cow)
~Me/W: IW Mesmer I use for Random Arena Faction Farming.
~W/R: Riposte Duelist or Stance Tank. PvP or PvE.
~PVP/GvG Character

Factions:
~Rt/? or Mo/?: I like how Ritualists look, and I love the new Monk armors.
~A/?: I want to have some bad ass armor dyed black.

Classic:
Me/Mo - Pretty lady atm.
W/Mo - Wanted to test out YA YA YA WAMMO build for fun...
Mo/Me - Monking is for proz.
PVP
Factions:
A/? or ?/A for unlocks. Probably Warrior, could be Ranger or even Ele.
Ri/? or ?/Ri for unlocks. Probably ranger... and probably a PVE spirit spammer... I'll see how that goes. Could be monk though... I like being a monk.

Or I could just make a W/Mo again and laugh.

EDIT: Oh yeah... My post says that I'm not making any new Classic characters because I'm done with Tyria. I'm definitely liking the idea of a passive character like R/Ri or Ri/R to just sit there spamming spirits. I'd imagine it would be nearly impossible to get in groups though. So... whatever.

I'll definitely make a main class assassin and call him Jago.

Prophecies:
~W/Mo: good fo farming/tanking and better than my original W/R
~E/Me: hoping that eles have a comeback, mesmer good backup profession
~Mo/Rt: i like healing, ritualist might be good for those elite missions that you have to stay in place and heal against lots of enemies (think how easy having spirits in thunderhead keep would be for healing/damage)
~N/W:i love being a necro, warrior for when i want to bring henches, they aren't very good tanks

Factions:
~A/N: want to be an assassin, necro used for touching skills like vampiric touch or plague touch
~R/Me: (extra slot from factions) want to be ranger, look very good at everything, and mesmer for backup profession if skills needed

*No ritualist primary because of looks, and i think their primary attribute line is useless

Prophecies:
W/x: First and main character, started off as a W/R
Me/N: Unfinished character development, acts as a mule to carry my items
E/Mo: Unfinished character development, acts as a mule to carry my items

A/Rt: To unlock skills

Prophecies:
E/Mo - Character since E3, WPE and early Betas Air or Earth and burst Heal
W/N - Originally W/R (all ranger skills unlocked) but swapped to W/N after all Iway builds popped up.
N/Me - Original Blood support, disruption through soothign images/sympathetic visage/ineptitude/migraine/Clumsiness/Arcane Conundrum; can be Ss necro if cant get group

Factions:
Mo/Rt?- still deciding, probably going high divine with prot.
A/? -still deciding but I know it will be support

Notice that none of my builds are damage oriented because the game is not about damage, it is about subversion, strategy, and tactics

Prophecies:
Me/Mo (I've had dozens of others, but this is the only one I've kept for over a month.)

Factions:
Rt/Me

Prophecies:

- Me/X - Male. My pride and joy. Started as Me/W, and is now usually run as a glyph Me/E, but has all the secondaries unlocked.
- Me/X - Female. Initially Me/Mo, and sometimes switching to Me/R for beastmesmer fun.
- R/X - Male. Created after I decided I hated all the female ranger armors. Bow-damage ranger.
- W/R/Mo - Beastmaster warrior, and sometimes farmer.

(Why do I have two mesmers? I'm shallow. I like the clothes! )

Factions:
- None decided yet. It's very likely my two mesmers will instead become Me/A and Me/Rt. If not Me/Rt, then my ranger will get the Ritualist secondary.
- PVP Slot.

Prophecies:
-W/* - Male War. First char, favourite char, best char. Kickass hammer warrior with one giant hammer. All 2ndaries unlocked, but i focus on pure hammer/strength
-Mo/Me- Male Monk. Another character i decided to keep. Everybody needs a monk, and monks are great for helping people. Monk is also blingin'.
-Me/*- PvP Male Mesmer. Made 2 pve mesmers, but didnt have the patience to finish them off. Have mesmer fully unlocked, so i just run it in pvp.
-PvP Slot

Factions:
-Probably an Asssasin/X
-PvP Slot

Prophecies:

W/X--First Char/Male--Used primarily for farming now, occasionally visits the FoW and RoF
Mo/Me--Healer always(working on protection)--Female--Because everyone needs a monk
N/Me--Im unsure about her--she may see the delete button some time soon

Bringing my War over and getting him some more secondaries--Same for my Monk

Whats the point of this? Does anyone care if you have a stance tank, heal monk, and an SS necro?

rit/ele: nvr really got into ele's so this would b my chance

Easy...the objective is to keep as many brain cells alive till Factions comes out. We still have a good wait ahead of us...

- Sin/W: Just for unlocking... Later, it will be deleted and becomes a pvp slot.

- R/W - Sword Ranger, Tanker, Trapper, Barrager. Is also R/Mo.
- N/Me - Frag variant. Lots of hexes.
- Mo/R - Tough healer. Useful to have around.
- PvP Only slot

Factions
- A or Rt, and whatever secondary compliments them (in my mind)
- A or Rt (maybe), and whatever secondary I happen to want at the time.

Ritualist/xxx unsure yet. may choose secondary melee if armor is high otherwise a ranged class, maybe ranger or mesmer

Assassin/xxx but who knows I might just leave the slot blank...
