Ripotise Builds

I like my build. It is intended to kill griffons as fast as possible. I prefer killing them in goups of three as fast as possible than 9 at a time but slowly because u need to heal. So here it goes

Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Hundred Blades (E) or flurry : both can get adrenaline fast
Thrill of Victory
Dolyak Signet
Bonetti's when your energy gets below 5
Mending
Whatever u want (Healing signet recommended if u want to solo more than 5/6 at a time) or sprint

With mending on u won't need to heal so all u have to do is spam ripostes and HB. If u solo a group of 3 they'll drop fast cause u'll get more ripostes per griffon.

I've also farmed Sand wurms and Hydras with this build (for the hydras u'll need healing signet) and also sand giants (but that's too risky cause) id really like to try this build but could u post ur attributes i just dont see how without spaming a stance u can stay alive with like a +3 regen how fast are you killign them?

I love the riposte brothers. They hang with me wherever the melee monsters like to cause trouble. I love my axes but it is swords for riposte so I keep some cool swords around.

I use this W/Me build with some slight modification for griffins, ettins, trolls, tundra giants, sand wurms, hydras etc.

3 -5 Inspiriation

Desperation Blow
Riposte
Deadly riposte
fill the need - Sprint/savage slash/sever artery/gash/elemental resistance
Gladiators/Victory is Mine
Dolyacts
Physical Resistance/Watch Yourself/Elemental Resistance
Healing signet

Want to kill a couple of sand wurms fast? - use above with sever artery and Gladiators and physical resistance

Ettins? Savage slash, victory is mine, physical res - could sub in sprint for victory is mine

Hit anything with both ripostes and desperation and you have given them serious pain and often two conditions.

funny story - doing the luxon quest and most of my group died - no monk
I am on a killing spree and I look up an all the ettins are down accept the boss and one other. 3 warriors and a ranger got smashed a while ago, but our lonely ele had survived and was fighting the other ettin. I take a break from bleeding the boss and killed the ettin, so now the ele/monk begins to raise the group....
Well there was no point. I had already killed the boss so my comrades collected their goodies and left. No good drops for me at all. I decided to go down to farm the other ettins outside of that village and !bam! Got a very nice superior vigor rune. There is justice in GW afterall! LOL you were doing a group farm? u shoudlnt need to RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO groups unles its oro or somethign like that neways i liike the build but ive never seen a point in mesmer secondary unless ur farmign titans, theyre the only ones that really dish out enoguh ele dmg to bring that

why use knights armor? wouldnt platemail work better? or does each piece make u recieve less damage? If all you're fighting is warrior enemies, Gladiator's armour is the best choice without a doubt with the one piece of knights/ascalons on boots/gloves/or helmet. They do not stack as the text says when you mouse over them.

This build gets me over 1000 hit points. I max out str and tactics attr because that is where the skills power comes from. Since I am relying on staying in the fight longer with 1000+ HP and want max damage from the riposte's. I am not using and SWD skills so I don't beaf it up. I have hung in battles for a long time while the rest of my team was dead. This is a good stance tank IMO. how do you ever use helaign signet w/boneties as only stance?

Its hard for me to kill the trolls in the cave outside of droks with your build. My build actually helps me out more but they all get damaged yet i still die. Can anyone help me out here? The best build I have used for trolls outside Droks is:
Glads, D Rip, Rip, Shield Stance, Bonnetti, Healing Breeze, Live Vic, Sprint.

You will be indestructable against any amount of trolls as long as you pay attention. You just make sure you have either Glads, Sh St or Bonn on all the time, use breeze if they start to get the better of you.

The sequence is: Glads -> Shield stance (and as many rips as you can) -> Glads again -> Bonn
By now there may be one or two left, then just play with them (i recommend Hop Scotch)

Can anyone help me out here? alright i never had problems...but neways u oculd possibly switch out sprint for diciplined stance if ur not getting how to keep a stanc eon at all times, u will die if one is not on agiantst a big gorup...the only problem with takign sprint out is u have to wait for a no avicra spawn, which considering u hsoudl prolly only PL here ur gonna have to do neways......if u odnt find urself presse dfor nrgy u could birng like HB or something instead of healign sig...just switch up ur stats abit so u have like maybe +7 or somehting
