I got a purple one from a barrel east of Divinity Coast.... then they nerfed the barrel so no more... then they got rid of the barrel alltogether.

I use that long sword with my 55, put a 20% enchant on and it does the job and does the walk and talk

Dunno why they put it only in those chests. -.- And not being possible to get from a monster is absurd. But I don't care as I don't really like that skin very much, it's cool but there are better ones.

I've recently considered getting some nice loot and I've heard that these swords were both nerfed and not nerfed. Can someone give me a definite yes or no on this?

Crystaline Swords are not nerfed but it is hard to get.

Basically they can only drop out of chests which don't require keys. Most players (including myself) have never and probably will never see one in-game.

crystalines used to drop from the strongbox in dreadknots drift (buddy of mine got a purp req 10 outa one).. but that was removed.

About nowadays the only way to get it is to win in hoh and get it from a chest there

i heard people say that the uw "spider run" chest can drop.. but thats not possible.

I have also heard that fow quest chests drop them.. but i have not spent enough time in fow to know for sure

Yeah they drop from FoW Quest Chest's Seen 1 drop theer before.

fow chest rewards - purple only
lost strongbox which is nerfed - purple and gold
hoh reward chest - gold

not nerfed

we should really have a sticky at the top just for crystalline swords lol
