Crystalline Swords

FoW QUEST CHESTS work. same with HoH CHESTS

i've seen one drop out in the west of the map which most people skip, but that was a really long time ago dunno if they still drop there.

As stated in another thread.

A guildmate of mine got one out of a purple UW chest (required keys)

I got one from a FoW chest - that didn't require a key - it was a chest that appears after doing a quest and randomly drops ONE item for ONE person in the party.

crystaline sword ussualy drops for chest that dosent need keys!! like lost strongbox ( ) and chest in fow (after completing the quest)

The only FoW chests they will come from are the ones that drop a single item at a quest completion. I've seen two from the first chest by Rastigan, one many months ago, the second just a couple weeks ago. Both were purple. I assume it's possible UW quest reward chests could drop one as well.

Both Lost Strongboxes were removed, no more rare skins from them anymore.

Only other place is the HoH chest.

I've had a gold crystaline , and a purple one , traded them both , buy low sel high , pitty they were both 14-21 dmg

Man so many crystalline sword threads. They can drop ANYWHERE, sources say most times HOH chest or FOW chest.

Is it true... if you first take quest of rastigan (or what is its name ) and then open the chest... it will be gold drop?

What do you mean as in ^ no no ? I have got one from a Fow chest and a friend has got one from an HOH run we did together.

/agreed ive gotten a few from certain chests. not in FoW/UW or HoH

in an old thread where the OP thought it was amazingly leet that the doppel had dropped something for him, a guy said he'd had a gold req 7 max crystalline from the doppel.

hoh chest is where ppl get the godly crystalines... 1 dropped just the other day and a gold 8 req dwarven dropped on sunday out of the chest.. so thats where u shuld go

HoH is Hall of Heroes in Tombs? the 4th level? Dosnt always have chest, but sometimes it does.

What is HoH chest, where is HoH chest? What keys does it take?

HoH chest spawns after a battle in the Hall of Heroes (not the PvE tombs, but the Heroe's Ascent Tournament) is won. The winning team opens it, and the team receives something along the lines of 3 celestial sigils and three gold items (any type). No keys are involved.

Ok you can all go talk all your want but ill give you the only 2 locations where Crystalline swords can Drop!
1) Hoh Victory Chest
2) Unconditional Chest Example: The Chest that appears when you do first quest of FoW or the old nerfed lost strongboxed.
^^^Those are the only 2 places cystalline swords can be dropped! not from enemies.

When i got my first char to lvl 20 i got a req 7 brute sword off dopple im pretty sure

it was purple with crap bonus so i sold it... i think it maybe possible u can get it off dopple

I got one off a high level boss a long time ago...(of course, before people like them...so i merchanted it)

Im not sure if you can still get them off of monsters, but I would assume you can.

Description
The Crystalline Sword is arguably one of the coolest looking swords in the game, very rare and very sought after. The blade is made of a piece of translucent, thin, yet very hard and razor-sharp crystal.

Location
Crystalline Swords are extremely rare. Many players will never see one of these weapons. They occasionally drop from the chest in the Hall of Heroes, as well as chests (only quest reward chests) in the Fissure of Woe, the Underworld and Sorrow's Furnace.

Crystalline Swords do not drop from any monster in the game.

A long sword with the Crystalline Sword skin is also given as quest reward after completing The Prize Moa Bird.

Is itpossible what so ever to get one from a chest in the desert , my friend told me thats where some drop.
