Okay, time to tap into the brain trust here on the site. Again.

Where can I obtain the Bloodstone Fen bonus mission and what does it involve?

I did a search and found out that henchies should not be brought along as they will kill the guardians. What the search failed to bring up was "What guardians" and where.

Appreciate the help in advance.

I found this site by loooking around a few forums.
It gives all the major missions and what to do for bonus up to a certain point.

I have this crazy doubt on Bloodstone.
Yesterday I tried it for the 1st time. I need the vine seeds to open the bridges in order to continue advancing. Now, where do I get those seeds after the first one that is given by that woman (can't remember the name here at work) ? There is a tree/plant near her, vine seed plant/tree, or something like that. Doing the default action on that tree yelded no result at all. I got tired of running back and forward looking tor those seeds and gave up in the end.
Probably I'm missing something here, but can anyone give me a clue where to get those seeds?

The seeds are in water areas. When you pick one up it usually spawns a couple of those spiders. There are several area's to acquire them, just keep looking for more water.

And yes, you will have to run back and forth *a lot* if you're doing this mission with henchies who will not help you carry. If done with a party of real people you can each take one and it makes things go much faster.

Bah, nevermind!
I was probably too sleepy to see one of those roots we need to climb in order to proceed the path, the one after the first area with the enchanted water.
