Which is more powerful: smite spells or ele spells?

It really depends on the build but if you mix the 2 of them say with air and smite they would make great smiter.It depends on who you are going after as well.I did some smiting some time ago mostly in the black curtain but I did it in The wilds mission as well forgot to change over.

smite is more of a utility skill line, that you use to make your warriors stronger.

when it comes to direct damage, even water is better than smite

(this is pvp ofcourse)

Bah actually I'm usually using a Elementalist and I now try Smiting...
It is very different and similar at the same time. Monk=Woah Monk! Get him!!
Elementalist=Less priority.
Anyyways i really love the ignore armor damage and i kill a warrior without breaking a sweat. But...E/Mo With smite could be really good no? Anyways it cannot get runes but the damage from the "Elem Side" could be nice too.
