We'll we've learned what nerf tastes like tonight (griffons being gone and all). What do you all think will happen to 55 monk farming?

Trolls in the cave outside Droknar's Forge? Minotaurs at the beginning of Elona?

There's always UW for the 55.

check out the thread: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...d.php?t=130352

scarabs are killing all the griffon. The npcs no longer block the path of monsters in UW. the AI for Wurms are smarter now. Chests in dread's are no longer there.

i dont know if this is a mistake but prot spirit doesnt protect for mark of subversion..... i dont take 5 damage but a whole 70 points of it on a 55 monk

Nvm och... the damage was change from normal to life stealing... OCH!!!!! that hurts my 55 a lot then...... =(

so basically it just ignores the 10% damage.... but that only means id have to be much much more careful

all I can say is YAH!! some new challenge... cool... can't wait for the next build of the month... Sure I farm on occasion. but honestly. its not needed or even really fun for that matter... anything Anet does to make it more interesting or challenging is always a plus. and heck. if that means the elimination of the inflation farm economy. well so much the better... I don't believe in it anyway... Its not about the goodies. Its about the playing itself... Now if they can just do something about the bigotry, and Boastful egos... Well I guess there is the solution of turning chat off entirely... I guess that good enough for now.. so go ahead spouting your 3l!t3 ([email protected].. I just don't have to listen to it thank Anet....

elimination of inflation. not now the prices are gonna start rising more. if Anet wanted to make the economy drop the should make it easier. but i have fun farming and i know of places that is still good.

First place that I want to try out is the griffons outside of snakedance. I've come up with a small list of possible farming locations. I'll tell you guys how they come out.

why not farm the Griffins in the area where hydras are? I'd say half as many as there as the side with scarbs, this side you can get to them quick and without other monsters attacking you, seems easy but everyone ignores it, least half as many over there, not a bad number.

it's ok out there..you can even 55 the hydra's..

but the griffon's are hard to gather up..they stop running after a short while

55 monk farming is still alive and well.

The area nerfed is only 1 area. I have always rotated 7 different areas when farming, 4 high level, 3 medium level.

I never ever farmed the area that got nerfed in this build.

Its only now that I'm starting to realise, I seem to be one of only a few 55 monks that went elsewhere, and all along, I thought we all farmed the same areas.
