Temple of Grenth in Lornars Pass

Fought from Droks to Beacon's Perch with a guildie and some henchmen, something I'd never done before-it was awesome!

We killed 9 wurms (Rangers-a great strategy when beseiged by wurms is to drop traps all around you and use interrupts to stop their suffering spell-they die very quickly this way).

Anyway, on the way, we came acoss a temple of Grenth, and he offered us a trip to the Underworld (for 1 platinum), except we had Cynn with us (he mentioned her by name strangely enough and said she couldn't go with us because she wasn't ascended-aren't they all NOT ascended?). Anyway, we passed and continued on to Beacon's.

This is now my favorite part of Guild Wars. Just wish I had taken some more keys with me.

I went there myself the other day while clearing from Droknar to Beacon with hench. But we didn't have favour or something because he wouldn't show up...

Oh... and you didn't come from Droknar as you have hench that are not available in droknar but from the warcamp. So my guess is you started from the warcamp otherwise Cynn, that male monk and Devona can not be in your group.

I've tried soloing my way there with my W/Me from Beacon's, it's surprisingly easy until you reach the spawn with 2 wurms at once, if they were alone I would be able to take care of them in no time, but 2 is still too much for me. Once I get passed them, I figure I should be able to reach the statue without trying too hard. I'll kill those wurms eventually.

There have been rumours that you can get into UW by that statue in Lormar's, is this true? I've never tried it.

Yes you can.
You can see the bottom option in the window: "Service to Grenth (1 Platinum)"

you know theres a rumor that if your country's not in favor you can still get into the UW. No'one knows how it works but they believe if you have a group with people in it from the country that has favor and they are the majority of that group you can gain access Thruogh the statue in lornars pass.

that may actually work, it's like in pvp...when your group are all americans, except for one european, who is also number 1 on the party list, it will say the number 2 ( american ) as XXX's team ( only at the beginning of a match, not when he/she wins hoh )

The statue gods don't appear without favor. So...no.

The guy that showed me this about 5 months ago said he was probably the only one who knew about it, he showed me and all and i frapsed it, but promised not to show it to anyone so it would remain a secret.

Now, with all the people playing and all i wouldnt usually be so stupid and think that no one had seen it out of the x amount of people playing, but the location of this temple is in such a stupid place that i truly beleive that i was one of the first people to see it. the location of it is in a spot that there is no reason to go, no quest leading to it, no town, no collector, no reason to find it.

Of course, my favorite hidden Balthazar Statue is the one west of Ventari's Refuge that I posted about awhile back. No reason to go there, I had just completed the mission in the area, and just thought "Wonder where this path leads?". Was blown away by the falls and other things around there. I started taking "underlings" on tours of the area after helping them get thru the mission. Love finding hidden stuff like that that few people know about...

hmmmm, that temple, is the other side to the door in the UW i think. if u go to the smites, take a right, and clear, their is a useless temple, that looks just like that. is that where you pop up?
