Futureshop.ca now has the preorder package available online. (only thing is the price might deter you. I think they have a policy to match/beat the price of others though. GL.)

Which one do you think is better: Best Buy or Gamestop?

As in,
1. which one gets Factions faster?
2. which ones does Preorder count to the price of the game?
3. which one has better preorder items?

Seems like Amazon is the best bet to me. They have the Presale package listed as its own item and you buy it and factions together.

They even offer to sale the Preorder package by itself for 1 dollar, so thats what I did.

That way they'll ship that to me tommorow or whenever and I can pick up Factions at my leasure and not owrry about preorders.

1. I would assume BestBuy, they had ch1 8am the day it came out. bigger chain = better suppliers (most of the time) but a place like EB is more likely to know about it.

2. every store. bestbuy takes $10 and you need the reciet. EB goes as low as $5 or the full cost of the game, prolly still need reciet.

3. all the same

I just rechecked and they've changed the shipping options since I tried two days ago. At least as of a moment ago, you could order one preorder without shipping.

- Exclusive in game CE items –Signature Emotes for Ritualist and Assassin professions in Factions. Special ‘emotes’ useable exclusively by players who purchase the Guild Wars Factions Collector's Edition. Customers with a CE access key on their account will be able to trigger special dances for Ritualist and Assassin characters. A new list of preorder CE information arrived on Gamestop today - my bet is they received it from Anet and weren't supposed to post it until later.

This is actually really disappointing. I was hoping for Divine Aura again because it never worked on the GW:P CE that I bought, and Anet has expressed no intention of fixing it - despite the fact that I sent my request with full documentation including a copy of the invoice of the order and photos of the box, cds, and the key.
*sigh* The only thing in the new version that I really want now is the soundtrack.

I wonder if you already have the first CE, will it mix in with the Faction's CE? Meaning have divine aura WITH the backup dancers??? THAT would KICK ARSE!!!!! Btw, i will be linking my CE factions with my CE Prophecies.

Question: If im gonna be using GW:F as an expansion to my GW:P, instead of as a standalone game, will I be able to use 1 GW:F to upgrade 2 GW:P accounts? I have 2 GW:Prophecies accounts on 2 separate computers.

I have ordered 2 CE Factions from EB games here in Ipswich Qld Australia and they have no record on computer or any knowledge about the Preorder Package coming. I had to order my Preorder package from USA and I am really hoping I get it in time for the preview event!

Aus/NZ will not be receiving preorders, that's correct. We wanted to make it available and EB wanted to have it available, however other factors have prevented this.

I can confirm that Aus/NZ will be stocking the CE for Factions. The numbers will probably be limited, however, so you'll want to either preorder or get to your store early; I believe there will be enough for a few copies per store (depending on how EB decide to distribute the CE amongst their stores).

Hopefully I will be one of the lucky ones to receive my Collectors Additions.

Its been noted in relation to Aussies, but everyone should notice that Amazon is only allowing 1 Presale Package order per customer so people dont abuse the fact that they are only 1 dollar (They'd run out of stock in a second, if people started trying to stock 100 copies of the preorder to sale later )

(I've already seen Guild Wars 1 collectors and preorder together sale for over 100 bucks).

CE Special ingame are only for 'sins/rits eh?

I was hoping that the CE's special would be at least universal to all professions (like ch.1's divine aura)...but again w/ the preorder ingame items, it was only for 'sins/rits, so they are atleast consistent...

/IMO odd though.
