How do you tame a Bear?

I'm making a new Ranger and I really want the Bear as my pet. Im going solo and I'm not getting a second profession, so hopefully I don't need any skills from another profession to tame it. It would also be very helpful if you could also list the bear closest to Ascalon, pre-searing. Thanks

Why are you not getting a second profession? It doesn't hurt anything to get one. And it will leave you options in the future so that you can better fit into a groups needs.

ok first of all always pick up a secondary profession even if you dont use it just so you can unlock skills.

the first place to tame a bear is in lomars pass south of beacon's pearch the zone is pretty high level so you will have to do some sneaking around. one spawns in the far south part of the zone if you get attacked by frostworms your in the right spot. It may take several tries before you can acctualy get to one without getting killed.

How do you tame it though? It always breaks my charm.

The general consesus is that you cannot tame a bear in Pre-Ascalon

I have a bear and im in pre-searing

how did you do it? i need to know, because i want a bear also as pet
