Does anyone know how well guildwars is doing in japan?

If you look at the ladder and click region there are already lots of japanese guilds in the ladder, almost as many as korea already. So it seems like the game is selling well in japan @_@

And what about taiwain and china?

Don't think Traditional chinese version is doing well compare to the JP.

i sometimes do random arenas , i can say when ever a japan team comes , its a festival of rezing until total death ... the online time we have , its the first seconds when we are far away from each other doing the psicological warfare .. after that , its fast energy drain

The game recently came out for them so it's expected that they are active.

I'm not looking forward to when Japan dominate international PVP, which I expect they will in the future. I went on a holiday over there 4 months ago and they seemed to take their gaming very seriously...

I wonder if Anet can nerf Japan if that happens.

well my guild has fought japan a few times in gvg, they are getting really good at it now, to say they have only been playing for a while, saying that tho, we didnt lose to them............

Came across a Japanese guild in GvG recently, it was a very short match (they were running a very bad IWAY) but quite surprising.

Some American and Korean guilds are in the Japanese Server. Why? Cause of fresh meat and to get rank high than they regulary can in their own server, and in Japan their are some good guilds forming.

Japan rules another game, I suppose.

Pretty sure gvg matches are based on who's playing at the time, not what server you're playing on.
