Rangers: What is your favorite Pet?

I'm a lowly level 11 R/E and still have my trusty Melandru's Stalker called Tiddles. What other pets are available and who likes what?

I got a pet bear its a bit runnish at the moment hes low level but its my fav out of them all.

To my knowledge, the moa bird, the hog, the bear, the wolf/snow wolf. From my experiance the bear is the best.

I prefer the strider.

are there bears after the searing? And by the way a have seen someone with a massive long lizzrd, looks really cool!

do pets do anything other than tank a little?

Well, you can get skills (shouts) that you can call out and your pet will do more dmge, have more health/armor, etc. basically all they do is tank...

basic pets I have seen so far are based off of the stalker, lynx, the moa bird, bear, and dune lizard....I still have a lot of land to cover and I am lvl 20 ::crys:: DAMN UPDATES lol

i still have Melandru's Stalker. but when it hit lvl 11 it automatically changed its name to Playful Stalker

My pet is currently resting somewhere in the back of my skillbook. He takes too many useful skill slots to drag around with me. I opt for 2 good smiting prayers AEs over his melandruness.

where did u find the dune lizard?

Love my giant chicken (Pollo Loco). Don't know if he's better or worse than any other pet and don't care, I like him.

That is exactly the same thing with my pet, i just take the smiting prayers (like you said) too.

the Strider is the one I like the best so far. I've tried the stalker and wolf also.

I want to change my answer. My new favorite pet is: anything but that blasted bear so many keep going on about.

the melandru's stalker, his name is Shadow. i liked him mostly because of his level and not looking stupid when he runs. its so cool to see him chase stuff stuff. the warthog is hilarious. has any1 seen a white tiger? or any tiger?

The lynx that you can find around Lion's Arch resemble a tiger more than any lynx I have ever seen. When they advance in levels they get to be pretty damn big too.

I can't believe your pet's name is Tiddles...
