Kryta: The pig and the boy Bonus

Hey all,

Stupid question, but I have to ask...

IS the Bonus of Kryta mission bugged?

I get to the kid with the pig, I wait for the kid and the Historian to finish conversing (like I've been instructed before), BUT, the Bonus updates on MY screen BUT the Bonus does NOT add to my quest log.

Any thoughts? What the hell is up?

As far as I know, bonus quests in missions do not log. Neither is there a green start on your map. So, in this case *spoiler*








U need to follow the road until the bridge with the warlocks. Beat them or evade them and go under the bridge into the laguna. fight some drakes and find the chest. If u pick up the paper expect some heavy nasty ghosts. U can do it with henchies: u run and let the henchies fight (and die...). If u run, expect a trio of ghosts halfway the laguna on your return trip. So, I guess 6 ghosts in total.

Most bonus missions add to your quest log (L). This one is probably bugged as it does not.

COOP missions (and their bonuses) never have a green indicator.

Hope that clears things up.

Maybe the answer is sinpler than that.

D0id you talk to the historian after you returned the pig?

This quest used to give you a green arrow/star at the boat, but ever since the last update multiple people (including some that have been through the quest before) have said it doesn't work like it used to.

Hopefully people have been doing a /bug when they're talking to the boy...

there is not quest in the journal and Suuk "If u run, expect a trio of ghosts halfway the laguna on your return trip. So, I guess 6 ghosts in total." There's actually 12 on your way before you hit the actual land part... all lvl 17 and they can deal 86-100 damage with one of their attacks, so once they swoop down from nowhere, put the book down and hope that you have a powerful monk with you!

oh my god... it posted 3 times i'm sorry! it told me i had an error the first time... then i tried again (it told me too)... same thing... and then now... 2 hours later sorry all... not intentionally spamming!

have a Warrior with sprint and endure pain when you do the quest, so that way the rest of your party can fight a backwords action (and die) while you sprint off to the safety of land, and once you give the paper to the guy, go back and hit the cutscene with Hablion which will rez the rest of your party

Thank you all for your help! I sumitted a bug about it already, and with the information from all you helpful folks, I believe I should be able to clear the Bonus sometime soon.
