Human monks are completely unnecessary in Thunderhead Keep.

Rofl, i just went there, and wow fun. I don't see the point of strikes, for they'll always be people not striking. But this is still interesting, amd i imagine strikes for tanks, nukers, SS/mm, and oh the humanity.

I, as a mesmer, went on strike as well.

Yes, but that still doesn't stop:

1. PUGs wailing endlessly about "GLF THIRD MONK THEN WE GO!"
2. Monks being treated like crap when:
a. Someone dies
b. Someone deliberately goes against the party strategy during the siege and dies
c. Someone aggros more than they should have and dies

There's a bit of a monk shortage these days, always has been. Most competent healers are in guilds already and have no reason to go to THK and other late game missions unless they're with guildies, and then they've got full groups anyhow.

Monk shortage?

Let's see.. If there were an equal amount of players playing every single proffesion, that would mean 1 1/3 out of 8 players are Monk. If you want your group of 8 people to have 3 Monks among them, you sure are asking alot!

LOL - If I were one of the two monks (or anyone else) already in that group, I'd be out of it faster than you can say "What kind of crappy team needs three monks???"

this strike started around 8:00 AM GMT-5
then we formed a 8 monks team and actually beat the mission
note that most of us have already completed the game, we did that run for fun.

I think there needs to be some thread consolidation.
