ppl are on strike in THK. all the monks there are pissed of and its in america district btw

but monks dont get treated the same if the team fails. only in a understanding group

This is laughable. There is nothing to strike for, but I have a monk so I really don't mind.

I hear Gaile is in D4, but I can't get in due to everyone flocking to see if it's true.

im really loving this. being a monk is my favorite thing to do on gw. i just got outta there from around a 45 min warrior bashing session. now mesmers and eles are joining in on the action. i am VERY surprised to say that i seen a couple warriors actually supporting us monks with our decision

Gaile is indeed in D4; my monk is there. Isaiah seems to be doing more with the actual strike though.

Update: Gaile is actually now asking what she can do to help the monks. GO US!

Man, it's a game yet people stand idle to idiotic requests? Strike for what? Nothing that's what, we can HENCHIE the mission, or 2 man it with henchies. The end. If you can stand and repeat the same things over and over, than wow, you bought a game to do nothing.

Man, crap like this is stupid. Only incompetent jerks blame anything on the monks, and they should be smart enough to realize this. Doing this isnt going to make anybody like monks more than they already do. (as for the strike, its pointless. I can easily finish THK with all henchies. on my WAMMO. whatever.)

I hope there is someone kind enough out there to record everything that was said by Gaile and Isaac.

I came in late D4 TK...Gaile is essentially answering questions about Factions, the strike, helms, etc.. Taking screenies will post asap.

bad news though...from what I am gathering..I see Lieutenant's Helm saying adios in the future.

Apparently due to everyone fussing about Lieutenant's Helm, Gaile went to see if it was going to get nerfed , removed, whatever.

Gaile, as mysterious as always, says antipicate a balancing of the HoD helmet in the future and don't go spend all your cookies on it.

I think giving complements to monks on healing is more than enough.

Monks have already gotten more than they deserve, they have gotten more than all other 5 proffesions combined --> 55 UW solo remember anyone?

So they should be the last profession in Tyria, Cantha and the 3rd campaign continent to complain about not getting respect?

Are monks special? well..every class is special, I dont see nukers, rangers, warriors, mesmers or necros demanding 'special' attention for doing their job, its just the monks.

I agree taking Aggro warriors who screw up everything are bad for the game, but you dont alone suffer..there are 4 other players besides monks who loose the mission too!

And why do you want to be at the bottom of the party list? if monks have so much problem, what keeps them from leading from the front? You hand it over to a warrior and then you blame them for it..

You know a couple of questions can make you figure who dumb a warrior is, there is no denying warriors are dumb lol...i got a warrior too...and i must admit i got this Getting-Dumb-Complex when I started playing Warrior after finishing the game with my Ele...but I learned.

Well, the developers have left the building. Just came back from D1 and D4, both Gaile and Isaiah have gone.

Gaile is in LA, International D2.

I'm not taking this event too seriously, but those who are taking it seriously and whining, complaining, etc need to be slapped. Monks do not "deserve" anything, are nothing particularly special, but one of the 6 existing professions which happens to focus primarily on keeping the party alive. I'm not putting them down at all, I love playing as a Healer on my Monk. But the people who say monks are underappreciated, taken advantage of, and so on have no ground to rightfully say this.
