Question regarding conjure on ranger

So I am a total noob with regard to rangers. With the recent change made to conjure, does it still work with bows? Are there elemental bows like elemental swords?

like they said, it work with weapon of same element...

I do remember seeing elemental bow, but I dont have any picture or anything to show you.

One question... Does the 25% armor penetration for lightning dmg apply to all source of lightning dmg?? especially those weapon with lightning dmg...

There are elemental bow strings to add to your bows. The following are what give the appropriate damage types, I believe :
Icy : ice damage
Ebon : earth damage
Shocking : lightning damage
Fiery : fire damage

But, of course, the Conjures are pretty much trash now. What you really want, as a Ranger, is the Zealous or energy gaining upgrade. It's just that you could formerly use Conjures with it and now you can't.

What does a zealous upgrade do?
