You should have passed it on the way to the place where the farmer is standing. Behind where the farmer and the guards are standing is a village. You should head back the opposite way staying on the left(to the right is a road that leads to a new downloaded area) The hog was less then a minute(real time) away from where the farmer is. Didn't the green arrow appear showing you where to go?
