Has anyone soloed Glint yet....I CAME SO CLOSE.

Just before I posted this I was doing a cap run with a PUG when they decided that they wanted to try to kill Glint. I said sure...halfway through the mission one of my team members left so i was a bit irritated to say the least but i figured we could try it anyway. After finally getting to Glint and starting the battle my team realized how strong she was. She killed all of them within 30 or so seconds then it was me and her... after a long fight she bested me. I didnt realize she had a skill that slowed movement. When i died her health was at the G in her name.

P.S. Sry to say i forgot to get screens cause i was soo mad. Also wondering if anyone has pulled this off.

Yeah, I'd like to know to. I think a Mesmer (primary or secondary) is needed, without it, you won't get far. And W/Me does sound pretty possible, I really need to try this out with my Warrior soon

well the thing is u have to interupt his move can't remember what it is because its been so long but in order to kill him u have to interupt it or else it wun't work. he just does way to much damage. im thinkn a solo monk could solo him if there was a way he could interupt the breath or whateva. not to mention the run gitn to him.

Mo/Me IW build?

Keep in mind that you don't have to face just Glint, but all 6 Dragons of X and their dungeons too.

Which makes this even more harder ><

I know a R/* can solo this as long as they have ignite arrow equiped and some self heal with a few evasion stances.

its slow and easy to interupt though, We did it with distrupting chop

Glads defence/Grenth balance with distrupting chop might work, you'll only get one shot at that though

I've soloed the mission, but still haven't been able to do this. The killer is that for each try you spend over an hour just getting to Glint.

I got Glint down to around 25% with my W/Mo, but in the end a mistake or two proved to be the end of me. And that was with about 15 minutes of back-and-forth with the beast.

W/Me seems like it would work, but I think you would be hard-pressed to make it through the rest of the mission solo. The only way would be to get there with a party and let them all die at Glint, which you mentioned above.

It certainly seems possible.
The only thing is that I'm not willing to try because Glint has a ton of HP.

u use skull crack as a warrior and u can easily disrupt everything because hes dazed then its just a matter of time before he dies

Thx i mean every time i try i get her very low but then she has a move that is like cripple which she likes to spam when she gets very low. Im using a R/N and the skills i use are distract shot life siphon grenths balance lightning reflexes whirling defense and kindle arrows. I need to find a few more skills that actually mean something.

watch yourself (armor)
wild blow (end stances)
some type of interupption(disrupting chop, leech signet or another mesmer interuppt)

I'm not sure on attributes, but I think high strength to keep doylak up almost non stop especially for the last level with the knockdowns.
A mix of these skills should work, in theory that is.

i did it with ranger interrupt and henchmans.

u just interrupt him, he kill lots of u, but u can kill him if u stay alive and always interrupt.
