Looks like a nice skill: especially if the range is better than Light of Dwayna

hmm that is interesting

The great thing about LoD was that it had a 4 second cast, lots of normal res skills take that to cast, I can't see this being used that regularly unless you're a non monk secondary.

Speculation about if you die whilst holding it, you drop it right? Will that res you?

It rezzing yourself isnt much of a problem..You rez right back up with almost 0 health...If they cant just immediently kill you...they suck.

This isn't as good as Light of Dwayna. For several reasons. Its cast time is longer...It isn't linked to Monk class, etc.

This cant be used int he only way Dwayna is used - EoE.

Because if you use this, you lose mark of Protection...which the rezmer HAS to have.

I was out with a full party of hench in Ferndale in Echovald forest last night, with this skill on my bar.

I had four henchies die, and when I tried this skill, no one was resurrected.
I thought I was doing something wrong, or too far away, so I tried it again.

Standing on top of two dead henchies, six-second cast, got the ashes, dropped the ashes — nothing. Tried it a third time, nothing.

We were fighting Wardens and Luxon mixed groups, btw.

Is it likely an enemy cast something to prevent the rez (Frozen Soil, or some such)? Or has this skill become broken? I didn't notice any funky spirits apart from brambles and laceration, and there was a few minutes between tries.

You cannot believe how good this is if u have 16 restoration because they rez with almost 70% life and you can cast it far away and then run to thier bodies so that it's harder to notice that your casting it and if you use weapon of shadow on yourself when you cast it it's even easier to pull off.
