Farming in FoW with a good group, I see a Gold Shadow Staff drop for me. I was really happy, but after ID-ing it, I couldn't believe how stupid that staff really was.



To take full advantage of this staff you need to be a Me/N/E ... or a Me/E/N.. or any other similar combo, which of course is impossible. Therefore it is absolutely useless... lol And it does more damage against plants... lol Worthless, but still good for a laugh.

Lol, yeah, I've had the same thing happen to me before as well, but not from FoW but from a chest, a gold staff with 3 different stat uses O_x. What I'd like to know, is if this is really a gag by A.Net or something..I mean..it's a gold staff, and yet..you get things like this? Useless, except of course for selling it to the merchant for its price lol. Whhy? lol

EDIT: Here's that staff of mine btw that is just as whack as yours lol:

I've actually had a gold req 8 Fellblade with Damage +14% vs plants. I'd imagine that's just as useless

I found a nice longsword, gold req 8, yay! i thought, I ided it and it had 14% dmg vs char...

Wtf? Pruning is the best mod ever omg, with it you totally pwn at cutting the lawn and making bonsai trees.

3-type staves have been posted too many times already ><

i got a gold req 8 stormbow, i was gonna sell un id then i id'ed it and it was pruning +11% and +5 armour, wewt

No, the OP's staff is bad. Yours ^^ is useful, you just gotta be Me/N or N/Me, or even Me/anything really. The damge isn't really all that important and that's all that will be affected by not having anything in curses. Btw, if you still have it, is it for sale?

not possible, of Enchanting and of Pruning are both suffixes :/

I tried to sell my 20% prune monk staff for ages, no-one wanted

I found a rare water wand in the new UW me wohoo ided it turned out +5 energy when health is above 50% me again wohoo 19% chance of recharge again wohoo firemagic -.-

someone showed a scroll that had +3 energy, -5 energy, +5 armor or something, i thought that was the worst.

It was +3 energy, +3 armor and -5 energy i thought? Either way, it's one of the few items that gives an overall penalty..

Fortunately, Anet makes up for this by giving us awesome mods like Pruning. Have you ever tried killing FoW forest with swords of pruning, it is like BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT all dead!
