question about pre searing secondary skills

hi, i've temporarily taken mesmer for a secondary skills quest, and am about to do monk's quest in catacombs. if i take this and lose the mesmer skills, can i get them back afterwards, assuming i don't commit to secondary class?

i'd hate to lose these very handy skills for the monk ones for the rest of pre searing.

you can take the monk quest and you will temporarily lose your mesmer secondary skills. After doing the quest mhenlo will ask you if you want to me a monk, clicking "yes make me a monk" will make this change permanent. If you don't click that button you can go back to lady althea and she will ask you a similar question, clicking "yes make me a mesmer" will get your mesmer secondary skills back but you will no longer be able to try other secondaries.

Often when I put a character through presearing i do all 5 secondary skill quests before taking one permanently

I alwys do all 5 secondary profession quests as they let you try em all out and net you an extra 1000xp.
