I have an up and coming IW Mes/War and I just had a small question: Should I use a Superior Illusion rune? The only reason I even question it is because of the fact that being an IW Mesmer means that you are up close and the -75 HP might be risky. Dothe Pros outway the Cons in this situation?

imo yes. just like a warrior wants 16 in axe you want 16 in illusion. it's 42 or 44 dmg a swing. and distortion will be nice.

Yes, super illusion rune. the + damage is more important than the life loss, and you should be focused on getting a decent armor + evasion more than hps, since you have IoW giving you an extra 253.
