I find that this is a short, yet amusing story:

So I get home from work yesterday to find that my mother has taken my Laptop to work with her, cause she does that sort of thing. So, I go to my PC and say: It's only a 4 year old computer, surely it can run guild wars, right?

Wrong.

I had my cable go out once and had to use dial up on my husbands computer. It looked like color tv fuzz and it was SO slow that even chatting was painful. I felt lucky that I could even see the chat.

I'll be honest with you, I play on dial-up since I've gotten the game and have beaten it, ascended many characters and do many activities on a daily basis and I barely get any lagg.

I'm not sure if I have some "special" kind of dial-up but I have no problems with using it.

...wow.

Anyhow i have AOL as well and it runs great

but when mom or dad need the phone they yell continusly until i give it up.

haha I dont no either, just stating that dial-up doesnt suck bad enough to were you can't use it.

Heh... I had no idea that you could make it look so very bad! My older computer (the one I'm on now) makes Guild Wars all... Laggy and... silver shiny crappy...

But nothing as bad as that man. Not even close. I think I'll have to give your character a pat on the back or something when I see you again...

Omfg. THE INHUMANITY! And GW runs surprisingly well with older video cards (Geforce 4s and 3s), as opposed to the newer generation of games that are quite demanding. GW has its requirements too, though. What is that, some built-in-comes-with-your-comp intel crap? I'm curious as to what horrific specs it has to cause that.

Pentium 3 processer with 512mb of ram and some unknown brand of Graphics card.
